Extras
Extras are a core concept in Orbit that ensures compatibility between Tours and assigned Carriers, Vehicles, and Drivers. They represent specific requirements, capabilities, or features that must be matched for successful transport operations.
Overview
The Extras system helps validate and enforce requirements across different entities in the transport chain. For example, if a shipment requires refrigerated transport, it will only match with vehicles that have the "Refrigerated" extra capability.
Categories
Extras are organised into distinct categories based on the entity they apply to. All Extras can always be applied to Tours. Note: Extra names are localized and will display in your Orbit app's selected language.
